LG G8s ThinQ launched at Rs. 36,990 with Snapdragon 855

LG India has launched its new Flagship Smartphone LG G8s ThinQ under its G series. It is the Premium Smartphone which comes with a new range of OLED display and Z camera with Time of Flight (ToF) sensor technology. The main highlight of the smartphone is Snapdragon 855 Processor, OLED Display and Z Camera Technology.

The Smartphone will be sold through retail stores starting from 29 September onwards at Rs. 36,990. It will be available only in Mirror Black Colour Option as of now. It is a great smartphone for those users who are looking for a Premium and Branded Smartphone in the offline market.

Display

Coming to the Specifications and Features. LG G8s ThinQ comes with a vivid 6.2-inch FHD+ FullVision OLED
display with Resolution of 2248 X 1080 pixels. The display gets Wedge Type Notch on the Top and gets Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It also gets the certification of IP68 water and dust resistance. In terms of build, it gets Glass Back which is a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and Based on Aluminium Frame.

Performance

As far as performance is concerned, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. Storage-wise it gets 6GB of RAM and 128GB Internal Storage. It runs Android 9.0 Pie Out of the Box.

Camera

Talking about Camera, Camera is one of the main highlights of the LG G8s ThinQ. It comes with a triple rear camera set up with a 12MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and pixel size of 1.4um, a 12MP telephoto lens with a pixel size of 1.0um, f/2.6 aperture,PDAF and 2x optical Zoom. A 13MP Ultrawide Lens with f/2.4 aperture and 1.0µm Pixel Size.

At the Front, it Gets Dual Camera setup. A Primary 8MP Camera with F1.9 aperture and Pixel Size of 1.12μm. And an Another 8MP Camera which LG Called Z Camera. Z Camera utilizes Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor technology which uses secure biometric recognitions. It uses HandID to scan a user’s unique circulatory pattern using infrared light which enables it to unlock the Smartphone even in Dark lighting Conditions. The same technology is used in the Face Unlock feature. The Z Camera also gets Air Motion, it is a touchless command interface that allows users to perform various actions without touching the screen.

Connectivity

The smartphone is powered by a 3,550mAh battery which also gets Quick Charge support. As far as connectivity options are concerned it gets Dual-SIM, VoLTE, USB 2.0 Type-C; Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, GPS + GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and 3.5mm Headphone Jack.
