Honda Elevate Price in India, Engine and Features

After so many teasers and much hype, Honda India has finally unveiled the Honda Elevate, its new mid-size SUV in the Indian market. The SUV comes with luxurious features, a powerful engine and the reliability of Honda. In the Indian market, it will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Skoda Kushaq. Although the company has just unveiled the car, the official launch is likely to happen by August 2023 and the deliveries will start from there as well.

Engine

The new Honda Elevate will be powered by Honda’s favourite 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engine that produces 121PS power and 145Nm torque. This is the same engine that we have seen in the latest generation Honda City. It will be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and advanced 7-speed CVT transmission. The i-Vtec engine is highly popular for its power, mileage and reliability. However, Honda will not offer a diesel engine in this SUV as they do not have any diesel engines for the Indian market. According to reports, the company may also launch a hybrid version of the Honda Elevate in the coming months.

Features

The Elevate is loaded with all the bells and whistles. The SUV gets a large 10.25-inch infotainment system that also gets Apple Car Play and Android Auto. 7-inch TFT HD colour digital instrument cluster, wireless charging support, walk-away auto locking and more. It also comes with a Honda Connect feature. It also gets an electric sunroof, dual LED taillights and two-tone finish diamond cut R17 alloy wheels.

Safety

Safety is one of the top priorities for the buyers.  The Elevate comes with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS),6 Airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability Assist with Agile Handling Assist, Hill Start Assist, Honda Lane Watch camera, Light Crash Performance, Pedestrian protection, Multi-angle Rear Camera, Emergency Stop Signal, ISOFIX compatible Rear Side Seats and Immobilizer with anti-theft alarm.

Honda Elevate Price in India

The Honda Elevate is likely to launch in the Indian market by August 2023. The company can start taking bookings from July 2023. Its direct competition will be from Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta and Seltos. As far as the prices are concerned, the base variant of the Honda Elevate could start from Rs 12 lakh and the top variant could go up to Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom).
