Honor has recently launched its New Smartphone X9B Globally. The smartphone comes with some unique specifications at a good price point. It comes with a HONOR Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Display, providing an all-round drop resistance for the screen. It uses three-level protection, providing multiple reinforcements for the screen, frame, and internal compartments. Also, it is the first smartphone that has received a five-star overall drop resistance certification from Switzerland’s SGS. Like the recently launched Realme 12 pro, it also has a high-end watch design at the rear and is available in two colour options – Midnight Black and Sunrise Orange.

It comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K Vivid AMOLED Full HD+ display and a resolution of 2652 X 1080 Pixels. The display has a refresh rate of 120Hz and 5-fold Eye Protection. For Security, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor as well. It comes with 360-degree whole-device protection with Honor’s anti-drop display. It is the toughest display in the smartphone industry and as per some experts, the display of this smartphone is unbreakable in normal usage drops.
Performance
For performance, X9b is powered by a 4nm octa-cors Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC coupled with Adreno 710 GPU. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of Internal Storage. Honor has also given 8GB dynamic RAM in this device for multitasking. It runs on MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13 out of the box.

For photography, it sports a triple-camera setup at the rear that includes a 108MP Main Camera with F/1.75 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide angle lens with an F/2.2 aperture and a 5Mp macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it comes with a 16-megapixel primary camera with f./2.4 aperture for taking selfies. On the front, it sports a 16MP camera with an f/2.45 aperture for taking Selfies.
Battery
The device packs a 5,800mAh battery which also supports 35W Fast charging. Honor advertises X9b’s battery comes with Super Durable Battery, it stays as good as new even after three years of usage. After 1000 charging and discharging cycles, the battery health level remains above 80%
Honor X9b Price in India and Availability
Honor made its comeback in the Indian market on 15 February 2024 with the launch of X9b, Honor Choice X5 earphones and Honor Choice Watch. The Honor X9b 5G is priced at Rs 25,999 for the variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will be available to purchase from e-commerce websites and offline stores.
