HMD Global has launched its next mid-range segment Smartphone Nokia 4.2 in India. The smartphone comes with great specifications and features at a value for money price tag. The device was first unveiled at MWC 2019 earlier this year and grabs a lot of attention. It will compete with Smartphones like Realme 3 , Redmi Note 7 and Company’s own Nokia 5.1 Plus. The company had launched 5.1 plus back in October 2018 which also comes with great specifications and features at the same pricing of 4.2 and now it is available From Starting Price of Rs. 7,999 ( including Rs.3,000 discount).

As far as the specifications and features are concerned, the Nokia 4.2 comes with a 5.71-inch TFT LCD HD+ display with resolution of 1520×720 pixels. And Display of the smartphone also gets a notch at the top. Coming to the performance it is powered by latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core SoC. Coupled with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB Internal storage. The storage of the smartphone can also be expanded up to 400GB using a microSD card slot.
Talking About Camera , the Nokia 4.2 is equipped with a dual-camera setup at the Rear. There is a 13-megapixel primary camerawith f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. At the front , there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture embedded into the notch.
Coming to the OS, Nokia 4.2 is based Google’s Android One program, such that it runs stock Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. The company is promising to provide two years worth of upgrades of the latest OS version and regular monthly updates as well. Another great feature is that it also gets a built-in Google Assistant Button placed at the bottom.

HMD Global has priced Nokia 4.2 in India at Rs 10,990. It will be available to purchase from May 7th, 2019 onwards via Nokia online store. The smartphone will also available on retail stores including Poorvika Mobile Stores , Croma, Reliance, Sangeetha etc starting from May 14th 2019. The device will be available to purchase in two color options including black and Pink Sand. The company has also introduced some great launch day offers on Nokia 4.2.
