HMD Global has announced it’s New Smartphone Nokia 6.2 under its Nokia 6 Series at the IFA event. It is the latest Android one smartphone from the company and the successor of Nokia 6.1 Smartphone launched in 2018. The company has upgraded the device in terms of Design, Camera and Display only, other specifications and features are carried from its predecessor.
The main highlight of the smartphone is its PureDisplay with HDR10 support, Triple Rear Camera Setup and Snapdragon 636 processor with 4GB RAM.
Nokia 6.2 is expected to launch in India on October 11 (expected) and feature almost the same specifications and features as the Global Variant offers. Buyers who are looking for a Reliable and Excellent Build Quality device can wait for this smartphone to get launched in India.

Display
Coming to the display, the Nokia 6.2 comes with a 6.39-inch Full HD+ PureDisplay with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It also comes with HDR 10 support which basically uses Pixelworks visual processor to upscale content to HDR quality in real-time. The Display gets an Aspect Ratio of 19:5:9 and Resolution of 2340 x 1080 Pixels.
Nokia 6.2 Performance
As far as performance is concerned, Nokia 6.2 may disappoint many of you. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with Adreno509 which is quite old now and HMD has still used this in 2019 in its Mid-budget Segment device. The smartphone comes with up to 4GB LPPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card. However, there rumours that HMD India will launch the Nokia 6.2 in India with a different chipset other than Snapdragon 636.
Camera
Talking about the camera, the camera of Nokia 6.2 is its main highlight. It comes with Triple Camera Setup at Rear with a 16MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP secondary sensor with 118° ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. The camera of the device also offers Night mode and Portrait mode with AI features including adjustable bokeh with various effects. At the front, there is an 8MP Selfie Camera with f/2.0 aperture and ZEISS optics to capture great shots in Dark lighting conditions.
Other Features
The all-new Nokia 6.2 is powered by a 3,500mAh battery with Quick Charge Support. It also gets rear Mounted Fingerprint Sensor and Google Assistant Button at the side as well. The device runs on Android One Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and it is also upgradable to Android 10. For Connectivity, it gets Dual Sim 4G VoLTE, USB Type C 2.0, 3.5 mm headphone jack, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5 and GPS + GLONASS.

Nokia 6.2 Price in India and Launch Date
HMD Global has launched Nokia 6.2 in two variants at a Starting Price of €199 (Rs. 16,000 approx.) for the 3GB + 32GB Variant and €199 (Rs. 20,000 approx.) for the 4GB + 64GB Variant (Rs. 14,100 approx.).
Coming to the India Launch date and Price, HMD India has not yet revealed the launch date of Nokia 6.2 in India but the expected launch date of the device in India is 11 October 2019.
