Nokia X5 : HMD Global has just launched its new budget Smartphone Nokia X5 at a event held in Beijing , China. The latest smartphone by Nokia comes in budget smartphone category and comes with Notch Display and Powered by Mediatek Helio P60 octa-core processor. The another main highlight of the device is camera , Nokia X5 comes with AI-powered dual rear cameras.
The smartphone was first expected to launch on 11 july but company has cancelled that event and launched the smartphone today. The Nokia X5 is the second smartphone by Nokia to have Notch Display after the Nokia X6 launched by company back in May 2018. X5 is priced at 999 yuan in china ( Rs. 10,000 approx).
Nokia X5 specs , Specification and Features
Nokia X5 comes with a 5.86-inch HD+IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels and there is a notch at the top. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor coupled with a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The smartphone is available in two variants 3GB RAM+32GB Internal Storage and 4GB RAM+ 64GB Internal Storage.
Coming to the camera, Nokia X5 comes with a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel size, PDAF and a 5MP secondary camera sensor. Whereas Front facing camera is of 8MP with AI-powered Face Unlock feature. The smartphone also comes with Bothie feature through which you can capture images using both the front and rear cameras simultaneously.

As per Connectivity options , Nokia X5 gets 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS and a USB Type-C port. Talking about battery , X5 comes with a 3060mAh non-removable battery. Coming to the OS , It comes with Android 8.1 oreo out of the Box and it is upgradable to Android P as well.
Price and availability
Nokia X5 is a budget smartphone , the 3GB RAM variant which comes with 32GB Internal storage is priced at 999 yuan (Rs. 10,000 approx). While the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at 1,399 yuan (Rs.14,500 approx). The smartphone is currently available in China only.

Talking about India launch , HMD Global has not yet revealed whether the smartphone will launch in India or not. The company is also preparing for Nokia X6 Global variant which is expected to come in India along with X5 very soon.
