After so many leaks and rumours, oneplus has finally launched its new flagship Oneplus 12 in China. The Smartphone comes with high-end specifications and features at a premium price. The company will soon launch the device in other markets, including India. It comes with a 4th Gen Hasselblad Camera, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 50W AIRVOOC Fast charging technology. The company has also given up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage options in this device. It will be available in three colour options – Pale Green, Rock Black, and White colour options.

Display
Coming to the Specs. It sports a 6.82-inch QHD+ 2K OLED Display with a resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels and 4500 nits brightness. The Display comes with Dolby Vision support and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It also gets Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
Oneplus 12 Performance
Under the hood, it is powered by the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 3 Processor coupled with Adreno 750 GPU. It also features a Vapor Chamber cooling system for low heating and better gaming performance. The processor is paired with up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 Storage with up to 1TGB. The smartphone runs on Android 14-based Oxygen OS 14 out of the box.

For photography, It comes with a triple Camera Setup at the rear. With a 50MP primary Sony LYT-808 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support, f/1.6 aperture, a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, f/2.6 aperture and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. At the front, it has a 32MP Primary Camera with f/2.4 aperture for taking selfies.

The Oneplus 12 packs a 5,000 mAh Battery which also supports 100W SuperVOOC Fast charging. It also supports 50W wireless charging. The company promotes it can charge devices 1-100% in just 26 minutes.

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), Bluetooth 5.4, Dual GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, QZSS and an Ultra-Thin Under-Screen Fingerprint Scanner.
Oneplus 12 Price in India and Availability
The Prices for Oneplus 12 start at CNY 4,299 (roughly Rs 51,000) for the base 12GB+256GB RAM and storage configuration. On the other hand mid variant with 16GB RAM & 512GB is available at CNY 4,799 (roughly Rs. 56,500) and the top-of-the-line 16GB RAM & 1TB variant is priced at CNY 5,299 (roughly Rs. 62,500). It is likely to launch in India in the first half of January 2024. The prices are expected to start from Rs 54,999 in India.
