Popular Chinese smartphone maker Tecno has launched its new smartphone Tecno Spark 8T in the Indian market. The smartphone falls in the budget category and offers decent specifications. This is an upgraded version of the Spark 8 smartphone that was launched in the Indian market in September. The main highlights of the device are an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor, a 50-megapixel primary sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery. It will be available in four colour options – Atlantic Blue, Cocoa Gold, Iris Purple and Turquoise Cyan.

Coming to the full specifications. It sports a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.3 per cent. Under the hood, the Tecno Spark 8T is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio A35 SoC. The processor is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It also supports up to 512GB of external storage. The smartphone runs on Android 11 with HiOS v7.6 on top.
For photography, it sports a dual-camera setup at the back that includes a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture and an AI lens with quad-LED flash. At the front, it has an 8MP front camera for taking selfies. Not only this, but the camera also offers various photo modes including AI Beauty, AR Animoji, AR Stickers, Google Lens, Time-lapse etc.
It packs a 5,000mAh non-removable battery with an optimized power-saving mode. The company claims that it is capable of providing 38 days of standby time and up to 122 hours of music playback. In addition, It also comes with the Google Assistant feature and supports voice commands as well. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, dual-SIM (Nano), Bluetooth, USB OTG and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Tecno Spark 8T price in India starts from Rs.8,999. It will be available in only one variant that offers 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The smartphone will be available for sale from December 15 on Amazon India.
