Xiaomi has just announced its new Mid-range Smartphone Redmi Note 8 Pro at an event held in China. Now the Company is planning to launch its new budget segment smartphone very soon in the global market. Well, Xiaomi is known for its budget Smartphone. The Company has already launched the Redmi 7 Series a few months ago and redmi 7 is one of the most selling smartphones in Market.
The all-new Redmi 8 will be the successor of Redmi 7. And it will compete with smartphones like Realme 5, Lenovo Newly Launched A6 note etc devices. The Smartphone is expected to unveil on 25 September 2019 in China and later on, it will be launched in India as well.
Redmi 8 Expected Specifications and features
Coming to the Expected Specifications and Features. Redmi 8 is expected to come with 6.22 inches of HD+ IPS LCD Display with Pixel Resolution of 720X1520 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass Protection. The display of the device is expected to feature Dot notch at the top just like its Predecessor. As far as performance is concerned, it is expected to be the first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with Adreno 610 GPU for Graphics performance.
Talking about the camera, Redmi 8 is expected to get Dual Camera Setup at the rear. With a 12MP Primary Camera and a 5MP Secondary Sensor. At the Front, there may be an 8MP front camera for taking selfies. The camera is also expected to get Bokeh Effect, New Stickers etc.
Heading towards the connectivity features, Redmi 8 is expected to get Dual Sim, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5, 3.5 mm headphone jack, WiFi 802.11 ac and GPS + GLONASS. It is expected to be powered by 5,000mAh massive battery which will also support Fast charging.
Launch date in India and Price
Redmi 8 is expected to unveil on 25 September 2019 in China and After its global Debut, it will be launched in India. We can expect the Redmi 8 launch date in India sometime around Diwali festive season. as far price is concerned, Xiaomi Redmi 8 will be priced under Rs. 10,000 in India.
