A couple of days ago, Samsung launched two new budget smartphones Galaxy M11 and M01 in the Indian market. Today Samsung has launched another new smartphone Samsung Galaxy A31 in India. This smartphone is an improved version of the A30, with some new features. The main highlights of the smartphone are 6.4-inch Super AMOLED U-Shaped Display, MediaTek Helio P65 processor, and 5,000mAh Battery. The Smartphone will compete with Poco X2, Realme X2, Vivo S1 Pro etc Devices in the Indian market.
Samsung Galaxy A31 Specifications and Features
The Galaxy A31 packs a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED U-Shaped Notch Display with Resolution of 2400X1080 Pixels. The display also features the on-display fingerprint sensor. As far as performance is concerned, Samsung Galaxy A31 is powered by MediaTek Helio P65 6768 Octa-Core processor coupled with Mali-G52 GPU. It runs on Android 10 based Samsung OneUI 2.1out of the Box.
For Storage, the device gets 128 GB Internal Storage along with the expandable storage capacity of up to 512GB through a dedicated Micro SD card slot. The device comes with 6GB of RAM and AI-Powered Game Booster technology as well.
Coming to the Camera. The Galaxy A31 comes with a Quad Rear Camera Setup. With a 48MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, 8MP Ultra Wide Camera, with f/2.2 aperture and 123-degree field of view, a 5MP Macro camera with f/2.4 aperture and a 5MP Depth Camera with f/2.4 aperture. At the front, it gets a 20MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture for Taking Selfies.
The Smartphone packs a 5000 mAh battery which also supports 15W fast charging and gives you a video playback time of up to 22 hours. Galaxy A31 also comes with Samsung Pay support which enables card payments through NFC.
Price in India and Availability
Samsung has launched the Galaxy A31 at a price tag of Rs. 21,999. The Smartphone comes in only one variant 128GB Internal Storage and 6GB of RAM. It will be available in three colour options Prism Crush Blue, Black and White Colors. The Smartphone will be available from today onwards across retail stores, Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com and leading online Store like Flipkart, Amazon.
