Samsung has launched its new Galaxy M53 5G smartphone under its M series in India. It is the successor to the Galaxy M52 5G which made its India debut last year. The smartphone comes with decent specifications at mid-range pricing. The highlights of the device are the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC, 6.7-inch 120Hz refresh rate Super AMOLED+ display, and a 108-megapixel quad rear camera setup. Another great highlight of the M53 5G is its massive 5,000mAh battery that also supports 25W fast charging. It will be available in two colour options – Green and Blue.

Coming to the Full Specs. It sports a 6.7-inch full HD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED Display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and also gets the Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC coupled with GPU. The processor has paired with LPDDR5 RAM with up to 8GB of RAM and also comes with the Samsung’s ‘RAM Plus’ feature which utilises up to 8GB of unused storage as virtual RAM. In terms of storage, it offers 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. The smartphone runs on Android 12 out of the box.

For photography, it sports a quad-camera setup at the rear that includes a 108MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP 120° ultra-wide-angle lens, with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it comes with a 32-megapixel for taking selfies.
It packs a 5,000mAh non-removable battery which also supports 25W Fast Charging. Connectivity options include Dual Sim 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, a USB Type-C port and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Samsung Galaxy M53 5G price in India starts from Rs 23,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. While the 8GB+128GB variant will be available for purchase for INR 25,999. The smartphone will be available for sale from April 29 on Amazon, Samsung’s official website and retail stores.
