Nokia 8 , the first android smartphone by HMD is confirmed to launch on 16 August, company has already started sending invites to media for the launch event. This premium flagship is rumoured to come as Nokia 9 name as well. Nokai 8 will be the premium android smartphone which will compete with devices like Samsung Galaxy S8 , Mi6, LG G6 ,Pixel 2 etc devices. The next flagship is expected to price under $800 or Rs. 50,000
Nokia 8 Specifications and Features
According to rumours,Nokia 8 will come with a 5.3 inch Quad HD SUPER AMOLED Display with screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels with a pixel density of ~518 PPI.
Nokia 8 is likely to powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC which is coupled with Adreno 540 GPU for graphics performance. The smartphone is expected to come in 2 variants 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
Nokia 8 will run on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box, as company promises to deliver every android update to all of its devices so this one will also get next android i.e Android O Update as well . Company claims to deliver pure android experience to all of its smartphone range , so this one will also give nearly Stock Android Experience to the users. The Flagship is expected to come with Stereo speakers which is found in every flagship nowadays. The device is expected to come with Fingerprint sensor wich will be placed at the front side of the device.
Coming to the battery department , the smartphone is expected to come with 4,000mAh battery capacity which will be enough for Super Amoled 5.3 inch display, the smartphone is expected to come with NFC support as well, it is not yet confirmed that it will have 3.5mm headphone jack or not.
Nokia 8 is expected to come in steel grey and blue color and Nokia also teases gold color so it might come in Gold color as well.
