Oppo has finally launched the new flagship Reno 5 5G smartphone in the Indian market on Monday. The Reno 5 Series includes two devices, the regular Reno 5 and Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G. But, only the Pro version will be available in India. Both smartphones made their debut in China last month. The main highlight of the device is 65W fast charging support, 64MP primary camera sensor and curved display. It will be available in two colour options – Subtle Blue and Starry Black. Apart from this, the company has also launched its new Enco X True Wireless Noise Canceling Earphone. The earphones are priced at 9,990 and will be available in black and white colours. The device will be available for purchase from January 22 through Flipkart and Oppo offline retailers across the country.
Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G Specifications and Features
Coming to the Specs. The Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G comes with a 6.55-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2,400×1,080 pixels. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate, 92.1 per cent screen-to-body ratio, and 402ppi pixel density. Under the hood, it is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC coupled with ARM G77 MC9 GPU. In terms of storage, it gets 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage without microSD card support. For Storage, Users will also get an additional 120GB of cloud service storage for 12 months. It runs on Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 out of the box.
Talking about Camera, The Reno 5 Pro features quad-camera setup at the rear in a rectangular module. Witha 64-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel portrait shooter. There’s also a 32-megapixel camera placed in a hole-punch for taking selfies.
Connectivity features include dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS with Glonass, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.1, in-display fingerprint scanner etc. The smartphone packs a 4,350mAh battery which also supports 65W fast charging.

Oppo has launched the Reno 5 Pro 5G in only one variant that offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The company has priced the smartphone at Rs 35,990. The company is also offering 10 per cent cashback to HDFC and ICICI Bank customers on the purchase of the phone. It will be available for purchase starting January 22 through online e-commerce platforms and offline retailers.
