Huawei has recently launched its New Nova Series Smartphones, the Huwaei Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro in China. Both smartphones offer great specifications and features at a decent price. The Main Highlight of Nova 8 Series is Kirin 985 SoC and 66W Fast Charging which is bundled with the Device. Both the devices have different specs and features in terms of Camera, Display and battery. The Huawei Nova 8 Series may Launch in India 2021. Let’s see the specifications of these devices.
Huawei Nova 8 Pro Specifications and Features
Coming to the Specifications. The Nova 8 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED Display with a resolution of 1236 X 2676 Pixels. The display also supports 120Hz of refresh rate and in-display fingerprint scanner with a 300Hz touch sampling rate. As far as performance is concerned, it gets an octa-core Kirin 985 SoC with Mali-G77 GPU. It also has 5G Support. In terms of storage, it offers up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
Talking about Camera. The Camera of Nova 8 Pro is one of its Main Highlight. It sports a quad-camera setup at the Rear. With a 64-megapixel large size primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. While the front gets a dual-camera setup with a 32-megapixel primary and a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera.
The device packs a 4,000mAh battery which also supports 66W of fast charging. Connectivity Features include dual SIM, 5G Support, NFC, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type C port etc..
Huawei Nova 8 Specs
The Nova 8 offers almost similar specifications and feature like its Pro Version. It comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1080 X 2340 Pixels. The display offers the refresh rate of 90Hz. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Like the Pro version, it is also powered by HiSilicon Kirin 985 SoC. The device runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box. In terms of Camera, it gets the same 64MP quad Camera module at the rear. But the front gets a single 32MP Selfie Camera. The device packs 3,800mAh battery which also supports 66W fast charging.
Price and Launch Date in India
The Huawei Nova 8 price in China starts at CNY 3,299 (Rs 37,000 approx) for the 8GB+128GB variant and the 8GB+256GB variant is priced at CNY 3,699 (Rs 42,000 approx). On the other Hand Nova 8 Pro comes with a price tag of CNY 3,999 (Rs 45,000 approx) for the 8GB+128GB variant and CNY 4,399 (Rs 47,000) for the 8GB+256GB variant. No information has been provided by Huawei about its India launch. However, We can expect its India launch between March 2021 and May 2021.
